Meet the Designer

A native Texan,
Vandi began designing jewelry as she sought adventures around the world as a solo traveler in the 90’s. This insatiable curiosity to travel took her on an adventure that would last 16 incredible years.
After apprenticing for jeweler Daniel Krumhorn of London for 5 years, Vandi found her niche creating edgy and bold jewelry for the London night club scene.
Famous for her sleek spike earrings and chunky stone rings, she soon became known to the island hopping crowds Ibiza, Spain where she then opened her first store at the age of 26.
Fascinated by colors, textiles, and the history of culture, she first began importing fine silks, tapestries, jewels, and artifacts from some of the most exciting and exotic markets around the world.
It was in Spain that Vandi found inspiration from the lustrous and ancient Spanish designs and began combining her style of bold silver pieces with the addition of soft and feminine 24 kt gold.
In the Fall of 2021, Vandi booked a weekend getaway with her girlfriends at the Round Top Inn - expecting nothing more than a good time with friends, but received an opportunity from the universe instead.
Shortly after learning that an adorable little cottage on Rummel Square might be available for rent, she had a signed a lease and a deadline to get the store open and ready before the fall show.
And thus, Via Vandi was born — bringing her own unique, exotic, and eclectic style to the quaint yet exciting town that she fell in love with instantaneously.
As she embarks on her second year in business, Vandi looks forward to bringing in more artist collaborations while sharing her love for design and the history from which it comes.
